Plants have four types of tissue and they are;
Meristematic Tissue – This tissue contains the cells that divide in order to promote new plant tissue and growth
Ground Tissue – Most of the plant is made up of ground tissue. These cells perform photosynthesis, and support the plant.
Vascular Tissue – This tissue carries the water, sugars and minerals around the plant.
Dermal Tissue – This tissue protects the plant. They keep water inside the plant.
